Of course, new mobile games are a dime a dozen these days, and who has the time to scour the iPhone, iPad and/or Android stores to catch the latest title that drops? This is exactly why we've gathered a quick list of 5 new mobile games you should try this week, from undiscovered indie gems to high-profile AAA masterpieces.

The Wreck
This narrative-driven experience offers an inside look at the life of failed screenwriter Junon, presented in lovely 3D and spiced up with a time-travelling twist. You'll essentially go through past, present, and future as you unlock dialogue options and uncover more of the story across this emotional visual novel.
The game features 10 memories you can explore more closely, as well as a full English dub. It's developed by The Pixel Hunt of "Bury Me, My Love" and "Inua, a Story in Ice and Time" fame.

Tyrant's Blessing
This charming pixel-art tactical turn-based game offers a retro-inspired experience on mobile as you fight through Tyberia while making crucial decisions along the way. To ensure that you survive against hordes of the Undying, you'll need to strategise the best use of your resources at every turn - do you engage highwaymen with your warriors, or avoid your enemies by dodging into bushes?
You can take your pick among 20 heroes with unique skills and personalities, and each one will have advantages depending on the task at hand. Assassins, for instance, work best in confined spaces while archers fight better from afar.

Top Troops
This colourful RPG-slash-merge game lets you step up to the challenge of saving King's Bay as you build your army and merge troops to repel the Dark Army. You'll need to strategise the best unit combos to deploy onto the battlefield across more than 50 squad types - don't forget to merge units to boost your firepower and expand your kingdom.
The game also features a variety of game modes, which include Adventure, PvP Arena, the Chambers of Destiny, Ancient Battles and more.

Romans: Age of Caesar
This co-op city-builder lets 16 players share an isometric city where working together is crucial in rebuilding Rome from scratch. You'll eventually have to forge alliances with other players to make your economy thrive and protect the city from barbarians.
The game also offers plenty of political power play where the ultimate goal is to become Caesar himself. It's up to you to either befriend or betray your fellow man on your way to the top across this historical cross-platform MMO.

Underground Blossom
This point-and-click adventure from Rusty Lake lets you step into the shoes (and memories) of Laura Vanderboom as you hop from one station to the next to try and piece together Laura's past. There are plenty of puzzles you can sink your teeth into on the road to uncovering different timelines in Laura's life across 7 metro stations.
The approximately 2-hour game features a unique art style and a gorgeous soundtrack by Victor Butzelaar, as well as a cello performance by Sebastiaan van Halsema.
