Of course, new mobile games are a dime a dozen these days, and who has the time to scour the iPhone, iPad and/or Android stores to catch the latest title that drops? The game boasts top-notch voice acting as well as gorgeously animated NPCs that can boost the immersive factor for players - something I was able to enjoy first-hand during the game's beta preview.

From the minds of director Koichiro Ito (Metal Gear Solid V) and cinematographer and scenario director Yasuhito Tachibana (producer of "The Naked Director") comes this thrilling mystery adventure game boasting stellar live-action performances, where players have to get to the button of a series of murders across different time periods.

The Square Enix title features immersive gameplay with each episode divided into three parts, namely, the Incident phase, the Reasoning phase, and the Solution phase. Players step into the shoes of writer Haruka Kagami to put two and two together and gather clues to solve the case.

The popular franchise expands its IP with this match-3 title, letting players blast their way through puzzles while encountering characters from the Subway Surfers universe along the way. Players can put their puzzle-solving skills to the test, collect stars, and even spruce up their hangout at Skate Haven within the game.

There's also a fun multiplayer mode where players can team up with their online buddies, share lives, and join in on team tournaments to rise up the ranks and score awesome in-game goodies. The offline support lets players enjoy the match-3 game even without an internet connection as well.
