Google and Motorola officially launch the Moto X smartphone in the UK
It's only 6 months late...
The internet is a wonderful thing. Have you ever heard of it? Through this internet thing, you can send an email with a link to a webpage to someone on the other side of the world in seconds.
Neat, huh.
Perhaps Motorola wasn't aware of this whole internet malarkey before the official UK launch of the Moto X at an event in London today.
Impressive as this smartphone is, many people will be fully aware that this is the very same blower that Moto released in the US last August.

And given the arrival of the exceptional Moto G before Christmas, the £380 SIM-free price tag on the Moto X is looking a little, well, mad (even if you do get things like 4G, NFC, and a 10-megapixel camera on the Moto X).
What's more, the Moto X will only be available in the UK this February in black or white (the latter is exclusive to Phones 4u).
That means no custom casing designs from the Moto Maker site, although Motorola does plan to roll out that service here later in the year.
With the world's largest mobile phone industry conference a little over a month away, we have to wonder if the Moto X will soon be rendered obsolete.
If, however, you're desperately craving the ability to shout "OK, Google Now" to check the weather, the 'new' Moto X will be on sale in the UK from February 1st.
