Cartoon Network will publish the forthcoming sweet and sickly retro-inspired iOS and Android adventure game Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake
The game stars a young boy named Niko who goes on an epic sugar-high romp across Gogapoe Island after some nefarious monster types make off with his birthday cake.

It is, of course, inspired by retro favourites like The Legend of Zelda
and Little Nemo: The Dream Master
, as well as nostalgic playground chatter about "secret levels, rumored play modes, and other game-related lore".
