Gameloft confirms Modern Combat 5 will be delayed until 2014
In order to 'fully achieve' its vision for the game
If you were looking forward to pretending to be an army man on your iOS or Android device later this year, I've got some bad news for you.
Gameloft has confirmed on Twitter that Modern Combat 5 has been delayed until 2014.
I'll give you a moment to let the news sink in.
The game was first revealed during E3 earlier in the year. And while Gameloft hadn't at any point attached a concrete release date to it, we all assumed it'd be surfacing towards the end of 2013.
Well, our collective hopes have been dashed. Dashed like ships on the jagged rocks of 'delay' in the choppy sea of 'we need more time'.
Still, 2014 isn't that far away. In the meantime, you can check out our hands-on video with the game up there.
And we'll let you know when Gameloft confirms exactly when the game will be out.
