Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus heading to Android ‘early 2011’

Gameloft has polished down the barrels, re-aligned the iron sights, and fixed its aim firmly on the Android platform once again with the news that its hit iOS shooter Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus is firing across the platform divide.

Modern Combat 2 originally secured a Pocket Gamer Gold Award when it launched on iPhone thanks to its tight, Call of Duty-esque campaign and addictive multiplayer, the latter of which Pocket Gamer's iPhone editor Tracy Ericsson called, "the true hero in this game."

The good news for Android owners is that both elements are on their way to the platform in their entirety, with 12 campaign missions to blast through, and up to ten players ‘tango down’ing each other online or via local connection across four modes.

Gameloft has penned the date as a vague ‘early 2011’, so keep your sights trained on the company's Android web store.
