Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage, the latest entry in the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, launches for mobile soon
Legendary franchise Mobile Suit Gundam is once again setting its sights on the mobile market with the nearby global release of the latest entry; Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage. This new mix of strategy and auto-battler will transport players into the Universal Century series of Gundam, allowing them to relive battles and stories directly from the anime and manga series.

For the uninitiated, Gundam is a complex series that spans a variety of timelines. The primary one, however, is the Universal Century, which encapsulates most of the series you’ve likely heard of or watched before. U.C. Engage, of course, is centred around these entries, allowing you to take part in the stories of Amuro, Char, and all the other classic protagonists and antagonists we all know and love.
As for the gameplay itself, you can expect a semi-strategic auto-battler wherein you’ll collect various Mobile Suits from each series. These range from the classic Gundam unit with the red shield and beam sabre to villainous units such as Char’s red Zaku unit and many, many others beyond that too.[MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM U.C. The battles play out in a simple way, wherein all you really have to do is position your units across a grid. They’re 6v6, and after you place whichever units in whatever spaces, everything else will then play out itself. Still, with the 3D graphics and some excellent renderings of mechs previously only seen in the anime and manga, there’s a lot to dig in terms of visuals.
On top of this, you’ll also have to spend your resources to upgrade the units you collect to tackle progressively harder and harder battles and continue to progress whatever storyline you may be on.
