Yes, you read that right. After what feels like forever, the 'Better Together' update has finally dropped on all Minecraft platforms, except the Nintendo Switch.

If you're a little out of the loop, the reason this update is such a big deal is that now you and your friends can play across iOS, Android, Windows 10, and Xbox so far. If you've got the Pocket Edition and your pal has an Xbox version, no biggie.

The other reason is that it's a pretty substantial update. On the changelog alone there are 28 new features, including stained glass and coordinates, 24 tweaks, and too many bug fixes to count. Check the full list out on the official update post here.

If you already own a copy of Minecraft on Xbox One you'll be able to get this version for free. For mobile and Windows 10-users, your update will download automatically.

Switch-users never fear. This version is still getting worked on and should be available this winter.
