Might & Magic Heroes: Era of Chaos is an upcoming strategy game for iOS and Android

Might & Magic Heroes: Era of Chaos is an upcoming tactical RPG from Ubisoft that was previously an exclusive in China. It will be an experience that was built with mobile devices in mind. It will be available at some point before the end of 2019 for both iOS and Android.

Though the game has been purpose-built for mobile, the campaign will be familiar to long-time players of the Might & Magic franchise. It will retell the story of Might and Magic III, which means heading back to the land of Erathia where you'll attempt to rally its population following the fall of their king.

The campaign won't be the only mode for testing out your strategic nous, however. There will also be eight other game modes for you to test out your skills in. There will also be numerous PVE and guild type modes where you'll work with allies and compete with foes, so it's sounding like a pretty full experience so far.

The gameplay itself will focus on where and when you deploy your various troops. Once they've been sent into battle they'll automatically perform all of their actions. You won't completely lose control of your army once you've chosen their starting position though, you'll still be able to influence ensuing battle with heroes.

These heroes will all possess unique abilities that you can use to influence the action on the battlefield. As you progress you'll unlock increasingly more of these heroes who will be characters you may know from across the history of the franchise. This includes characters like Yog the half-human, half-genie and Shiva the barbarian.

Might & Magic Heroes: Era of Chaos will be available for both iOS and Android at some point in 2019. It will be a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can pre-register over on their official site now which will net you a Pirate Catherine skin and Legendary Pack of loot when the game drops.
