Midnight Star: Renegade is an upcoming FPS with a focus on speed that is tailor-made for mobile

I'm a midnight star

Product: Midnight Star: Renegade | Publisher: Industrial Toys | Genre: Shooter
For: Android   Also on: iPhone, iPad

Midnight Star: Renegade is the sequel to the surprisingly decent Midnight Star.

It wasn't an FPS that tried to replicate the console or PC experience of playing an hardcore FPS, instead it focused on innovative touch controls and mobile accessibility. It played like an on rail shooter and it was fun while it lasted.

In Midnight Star: Renegade, the team at Industrial Toys wants to expand that concept by introduction the ability to move anywhere. Just double tap on the ground and your character will move there.

Thus, you'll be able to do some crazy new movements as shown in the trailer below:

Missions will still be short as most of the 150 missions will be kept under a minute.

The sequel will also feature a new head-to-head multiplayer mode and I'm curious to see how it will fare with this control scheme.

Look for it on iOS and Android later this summer.
