Having dished out a Gold Award to the game back in January, we thought the card-based roguelike was a fantastic addition to anyone's library, saying: "Meteorfall is exactly what you want from a single player card game. It's fun, it's deep, and it'll keep you coming back for more."

As the name of the update suggests, this'll bring in the new 'Demon' difficulty mode where you'll unlock challenges that progressively get harder and harder after defeating Uberlich. With this there'll be five demonic enemies, two new quests, and 18 new cards, including Swig o' Grog, Mage Hunter, and Shake it Off.

As well as all of that new content on the way, there'll be a bunch of tweaks and balances to go with it. These include: 'Gold' encounter being removed, 'Treasure' encounter shows off an extra card and give you five coins, and much more.

Check out the full list of specs in Meteorfall's patch notes here. Though some beta testers will be able to get their hands on it sooner, the update's due out around September which is only next month (ugh, scary).
