SNAKE?! SNAAAAAAKE!

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's companion app is now out on iOS and Android

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is out now as anyone on social media will most certainly already know. But did you know its companion app is out now, too?

As we detailed before, the companion app connects with Snake's iDroid device so that you can use your smartphone to view in-game maps and call in support choppers.

When you're not playing the game, the app can be used to listen to the soundtrack at any time. However, it's noted in the app's description that you need to have to played "up to a certain point using the iDROID mode."

The companion app should be compatible with the PS3, PS4, and Xbox One versions of The Phantom Pain. Those of you playing the PC and Xbox 360 versions miss out, unfortunately.

You can download the MGS V: The Phantom Pain companion app for free on the App Store and Google Play right now.
