Medication Meditation isn't your average game. It has no end, it's deliberately slow, and is painfully repetitive.

That doesn't sound like a fun time. But it's not about having fun. There's another purpose to this game, you see.

With Medication Meditation, artist Kara Stone has you experience the rituals that she goes through time and again to deal with depression and anxiety.

There are five mini-games through which to toil, each of which is focused on maintaining control over a body part as part of meditation.

You'll be asked to breathe slowly by tapping on a set of lungs, for example. You'll also be asked to find your pulse and then tap it out onto the touchscreen in one game.

By exposing the engineering of our bodies, Stone hopes you're able to realise how difficult it can be to quieten our minds and relax.

"Medication Meditation will both amuse and have you questioning self-care in equal measure," Stone adds.

If you want to feed your curiosity, you can purchase Medication Meditation for £1.49 / $1.99 from the App Store [buy] and Google Play [buy].
