Marvel Future Fight update brings Wave, a new raid boss and it's out now

Marvel Future Fight's latest roster addition is one of it's newer characters, Wave. It's an update that's celebrating Marvel's 80th anniversary and will also include a new boss raid, uniforms and other classic superheroes.

Pearl Pangan, who goes by the alias Wave, has the power of hydrokinesis. As you might have guessed from the name, this is the ability to control and manipulate water. She made her debut in the Marvel comics earlier this year and has swiftly made her way into the game.

Alongside Wave, there will also be a new Giant Boss Raid to tackle. This will be the Devourer of Worlds himself, Galactus. The update will also allow players to invite players to Boss Raids meaning that you can team up with your pals easier to topple the cosmic entity together. If none of these characters appeals then head over to their official site for the full roster.

There have also been two further roster additions with watery themes. This will see the arrival of Classic Namor, an Atlantean/Human hybrid and the Modern version of the Silver Surfer, who surfs across space rather than the ocean.

Finally, the members of the Fantastic Four – Mister Fantastic, The Thing, Invisible Woman and Human Torch will receive brand new 'Future Foundation' uniforms. Within the comics, this was an organisation created by Mister Fantastic to try and come up with solutions to some of the Earth's greatest problems.

Marvel Future Fight is a tremendously popular game, reportedly boasting 100 million players across the world. I'm sure the success of the MCU is a big factor in this as people clamour for as much Marvel content as they can find. If you feel like giving it a go then it's available now on the App Store and Google Play.
