Marvel Contest of Champions adds new Battlegrounds game mode to spice things up for players each season

Kabam has announced an exciting update for Marvel Contest of Champions, the studio's action-packed fighting game on mobile. Now live, Battlegrounds is the latest 1v1 competitive mode that lets players create their decks and summon their chosen Champions to duke it out for ultimate glory.

In Marvel Contest of Champions' Battlegrounds, players can look forward to a unique drafting phase that lets Summoners craft their own matchups to fight. You'll have to strategise the best way to counter your enemy's picks, then engage in a best-of-three battle phase. With every round, a Defender and Attacker are assigned, and wins will be determined based on scoring parameters in a specific season.

Players can also look forward to a deckbuilder with multiple decks, as well as an in-match experience and a fight outro. There will also be friendly matches along with a season-ranked system.
