Make use of his ability to control rock and earth

Marvel Contest of Champions' latest addition to its ever-growing roster is Terrax the Tamer

Following the release of Mole Man earlier this month, Marvel Contest of Champions is back with another addition to its ever-growing roster. This time it's another villainous character called Terrax the Tamer.

Formerly know as Tyros, he once reigned over the city of Lanlak with an iron fist. Galactus was impressed with his brutal approach and decided to make him his personal Herald. This magnified Tyros' command over rock and earth, making him a formidable opponent.

In Contest of Champions, Terrax will be able to create a rock field to attack his opponents with. Rock Field deals Energy Damage and its power output scales with time. This means that the longer Rock Field is active the more damage it will eventually deal. In addition to that, whenever this move is active he'll gain Indestructible Charges, allowing him to avoid taking serious damage.

This strength is also a potential weakness, however. Without Rock Field not only does Terrax lose his indestructibility but also his most potent way of damaging opponents. Therefore, if you can control his Power Meter you'll have a much easier time beating the Herald of Galactus.

He does have several immunities to bear in mind though such as shock and bleed. Additionally, he is also immune to Power Drain, Power Steal, Power Burn, Power Lock and Enervate effects from Metal Champions.

If you're an avid fan of Marvel Contest of Champions, you can check out detailed stats for Terrax the Tamer over on the game's official website. Here you'll be able to see all the numbers relating to his HP and attacks alongside the finer details of his move pool.

Marvel Contest of Champions is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
