Lynn and the Spirits of Inao is a recently announced iOS and Android game by indie startup Bloomylight Studio.

According to its maker, Lynn and the Spirits of Inao is influenced by Japanese artists such as Hayao Miyazaki and Shigeru Miyamoto.

Suffice it to say, if you're on the prowl for visual inspiration, you can't go far wrong with the works of Miyazaki.

Judging from the few screens we've seen of the game so far, Lynn and the Spirits of Inao, it would appear as though Bloomylight has absolutely nailed the 'look'. Yep, there are some very Studio Ghibli-esque landscapes and characters in this one.

The game itself is an action-platformer set on the island of Inao. Here, humans and spirits live in harmony. You will play as both Lynn and her sidekick, Aku. They are working to free the troubled spirits who are causing quite a ruckus on the island.

So, you can safely expect to explore a whole host of beautiful locations and to meet a cast of colourful characters when the game is released sometime in 2015.

In the meantime, keep checking back on PG, for we'll be updating this story with new information just as soon as it's released.
