Mobile rhythm game Lumines: Puzzle & Music soft launching July 19, worldwide release this September

Earlier this year, it was announced that not one, but two mobile Lumines games were coming this year. The celebrated rhythm franchise already came out on iOS a couple of years ago but that version was not well received.

One of these upcoming titles was Lumines: Puzzle & Music (previously Lumines 2016), a paid app that's supposed to be the Lumines that we love adapted for touch. In an update to the Japanese website (and with the information received by eagle eyed Twitter user Lifelower), it appears that the game will launch July 19th in Japan and, New Zealand and Australia as part of a soft launch.

Then, in September, the game will be released worldwide.

Hopefully this won't suck as Lumines, created by Tetsuya Mizuguchi, is one of my favorite rhythm game ever.
