Former Ubisoft talent announce 'narrative music game' Lost in Harmony for iOS and Android

| Lost in Harmony

Lost in Harmony is a "narrative music game" about a teenage boy overcoming his fears in a futuristic city.

He's called Kaito and is joined by his friend (and possible love interest) Aya. He skateboards around a futuristic city with her riding on his back.

You have to steer Kaito left and right to dodge traffic, gaps in the road, and various other obstacles. Each chapter represents one of the fears he is trying to overcome: water, heights, crowds, and so on.

Other than steering Kaito, you also have to tap out rhythms to the songs playing in each chapter. The tracks are provided by famous composers as well as Wyclef Jean (remember him?).

Lost in Harmony was revealed during Tokyo Game Show by its creators at Digixart Entertainment. This is a new studio with some of the talent that worked on Ubisoft's World War I adventure Valiant Hearts.

Should you expect fluid animation and an emotional tale from Lost in Harmony, then? Certainly the former, as is proven by the game's debut trailer, which you can watch above.

As to the latter? That's something we'll have to wait until Lost in Harmony comes out for iOS and Android in January 2016 to find out.
