Tin Man Games is making a trilogy of Warhammer 40,000 game books
01

As we march ever closer to the inevitable future where every video game is Warhammer 40,000, gamebook expert Tin Man Games has announced a trilogy of Warhammer-themed choose-your-own-adventure novels.

The first, Legacy of Dorn: Herald of Oblivion (a digital adaptation of the Warhammer 40,000 Path To Victory gamebook of the same name), will hit iOS and Android in September.

As usual, things have been spruced up for this digital remake. The paper book is now an Imperial Cogitator computer terminal. And the dice combat is scrapped in favour of first- person, turn-based brawls.

02

The story makes you a veteran Space Marine of the Imperial Fists Chapter. Which sounds fun, until you learn that you're trapped aboard a space hulk, the only survivor of your squad, and surrounded by alien nasties.

This is part one of a Legacy of Dorn Trilogy. Sequels Pits of Commorragh and Forge of War are due for release in 2016. We'll let you know when Herald of Oblivion hits the app stores.
