LoL: Wild Rift Tryndamere Guide: Best build, items, runes

An easy-to-play Fighter is next in line, and his name is Tryndamere - the Barbarian King. Trynda is one of the best solo queue champions since his kit is made to do damage, have sustain, all while having more than enough mobility to help you escape peculiar situations.

Tryndamere is not super difficult to play, and the fact that he comes with an ultimate that allows them to dive towers and survive any type of damage for a couple of seconds can be key in so many situations! While he's not one of the preferred champions for pro players, Tryndamere is still a great pick for players who want to climb as a solo laner with a champion that can siege, kill, do objectives solo, farm single target, and AoE and tank. In other words, Trynda has a use for anything. Oh, and he's fun to play as well!

In our Wild Rift Tryndamere guide you'll find everything you need to know about the champion, from his skills and how to allocate them to his build, skill combo, and runes. This is what you will find in the Tryndamere guide below:

Tryndamere skills

League of Legends: Wild Rift Tryndamere's skills:

Battle Fury (Passive)

Tryndamere gains Fury for each attack, critical strike, and killing blow he makes. Fury passively increases his Critical Strike Chance and can be consumed with his Bloodlust spell.

Bloodlust (Skill 1)

Tryndamere thrives on the thrills of combat, increasing his Attack Damage as he is more and more wounded. He can cast Bloodlust to consume his Fury and heal himself.

Mocking Shout (Skill 2)

Tryndamere lets out an insulting cry, decreasing surrounding champions' Attack Damage. Enemies with their backs turned to Tryndamere also have their Movement Speed reduced.

Spinning Slash (Skill 3)

Tryndamere slices toward a target unit, dealing damage to enemies in his path.

Undying Rage (Skill 4 / Ultimate)

Tryndamere's lust for battle becomes so strong that he is unable to die, no matter how wounded he becomes.

How to combo as Tryndamere in Wild Rift:

Tryndamere is a champion that doesn't have any particular combos. His skills are situational, and depending on what you aim to achieve, here are a few tips to help you out.

  • You can use Skill 3 to go over walls and clear a minion wave
  • You can try to fool your low-HP target by using Skill 3 away from them and then using Flash back to their location to catch them by surprise.
  • If you are in melee range from an enemy, don't use Skill 3 to damage them, but keep it for when the enemy will try to use Flash to get away from you.

Wild Rift Tryndamere - In what order to level up the skills?

For Tryndamere, this is the order in which you want to level up the skills:

  • Level 1: Skill 1
  • Level 2: Skill 3
  • Level 3: Skill 2
  • Level 4: Skill 1
  • Level 5: Skill 4
  • Level 6: Skill 1
  • Level 7: Skill 1

Keep leveling Skill 1 until it's maxed, then focus on Skill 3, and lastly on Skill 2. Don't forget to keep adding 1 point into your Skill 4 (ultimate) whenever possible.

The best items for Tryndamere:

Wild Rift Tryndamere best build

You can build a lot of useful (or fun!) items on Trynda, however, these are some of the most common ones. You can also go for items such as Navori Quickblades, which is an item that synergises exceptionally well with his kit.

Boots:  Gluttonous Quicksilver is the best option for Trynda, since it gives him even more lifesteal and a means of escaping crowd controls.  Gluttonous Shadow is an alternative that works great for slowing down enemies and catching up with them (although very rarely used, since it's more fun than anything else).
