Tactical turn-based roguelike Lamp and Vamp doesn't sheathe its fangs, out today

Lamp and Vamp is the next game from the creators of Mucho Party, but it's far from being another casual party game. No, it's a tactical turn-based roguelike.

Yes, this is a calling to all those who are fans of Hoplite, 868-HACK, and Cosmic Crown. Lamp and Vamp will probably be your next time sink.

As a vampire, you have to make it across the hex-based grids that form each level to reach your coffin. You have 100 HP to do this with.

The problem is that there are villagers hunting you with lamps. The lamps spread light over the grid that you need to avoid as much as possible.

As you can only move one hexagon per turn, you'll probably need to make use of your vampire abilities to make it across.

This includes turning into a bat to fly further each turn, and turning into a fog to evade the lights. However, using these abilities costs you HP.

You can, however, get HP back by attacking villagers and sucking their blood. But you need to be in the shadows and a right next to them on the grid to do this.

After reading all of these interlocked mechanics you'll probably know whether or not this tactical vamp-'em-up is for you or not.

If you think it is, you can purchase it for £1.49 / $1.99 on the App Store [buy] right now. It should also be available on Google Play [buy] later on today.
