| LOUD on Planet X

If you want to play Loud on Planet X, you've got to have good rhythm. And you better be able to keep to the rhythm, even when bug-eyed alien blobs are bearing down on you.

The game is all about indie bands - like Tegan and Sara, Metric, July Talk, F*cked Up, and Cadence Weapon - who have to defend their stage from waves of goopy aliens.

You fight back by tapping on lanes (the game's set out like Plants vs Zombies, with four corridors of enemies marching right to left), but you can only do it to the beat of the band's music.

If your rhythm is wonky (like, say, if enemies are swarming at the stage and . Or if you're just awful at music games like me), you'll misfire.

Killing loads of enemies grants you special abilities like speakers, strobe lights, fog machines, amplifiers, and bouncers which help you out when you swipe your finger. And each band has a unique special attack.

Loud on Planet X

Loud on Planet X is super cute, easy to pick up and play, and stuffed to the brim with rad bands. And more super awesome musicians will be announced at launch. Expect the game on iOS and Android this summer.
