Vodafone has revealed that it will be selling the LG Optimus 3D the minute it becomes available.

It had been rumoured that the Optimus 3D was going to be officially unveiled at the Mobile World Conference in two weeks' time, but Vodafone’s announcement means that there will be no nervous wait to find out when the handset is coming to the UK.

Electricpig has been told by Vodafone that the phone, “will come to Vodafone. As soon as it’s launched we will bring it to the UK.”

The LG Optimus 3D features a screen larger than four inches, which allows for glasses-free 3D viewing and its dual-lens camera is capable of recording 3D video.

An HDMI connection makes it easy to view 3D content on your TV while wi-fi and DLNA connectivity allows you to share it to wireless enabled 3D TVs, Blu-Ray players and set-top boxes.

While Vodafone was forthcoming with release information, it was less willing to divulge details about a price, an exact release date, or whether the phone will be available on Pay as You Go tariffs.
