Ironhide Studios is going back to the beginning with Kingdom Rush Origins, the latest addition to the tower defence series. And using our New Zealand App Store shaped crystal ball, we can tell you the game will be out at midnight tonight in the UK.

As you might expect there are new towers, new heroes, and new enemies to play around with. All wrapped up in that polished cartoon style we've come to expect from the Kingdom Rush series.

There are 70 achievements to unlock, and hours of game to play through. You can unleash terrifying new powers, and use the interactive terrain to your advantage.

Kingdom Rush Origins should hit the UK later today, and when it does it'll set you back £2.99 / $4.99.

In the meantime why not check out our hands-on with an earlier build in the video back at the top of the page.
