Kingdom Two Crowns' Norse Lands DLC will introduce a new campaign to the strategy game later this month

Raw Fury and Stumpy Squid have announced that Kingdom: Two Crowns: Norse Lands will release on all platforms, including iOS and Android, on November 16th. It's the first premium piece of DLC for the highly acclaimed strategy game and it will introduce a new campaign alongside other additional content.

As the name of the DLC implies, it draws influence from Norse mythology and culture. That means we can expect a new setting and challenges. In Norse Lands, players will create a kingdom and defend it from invaders whilst exploring the world to find new areas to conquer and claim as their own. To help make that a little easier, players can call upon abilities drawn from the Norse gods themselves.

There are also several puzzles to solve before battling against a powerful new enemy. To help fight these foes, players can make use of new units, such as the Berserker. He is a powerful warrior dedicated to defending the kingdom with a shield in hand.

The Norse Lands DLC will also introduce new weather effects to Kingdom: Two Crowns. While the Nordic regions are beautiful at times, they also bring frightfully cold winters that aren't for the faint of heart. However, Valhalla awaits for any peasant, vanguard, farmer, archer, or builder who defends their home to the bitter end.

Although the Norse Lands DLC doesn't release for all platforms until November 16th, you can see what it has to offer right now. Well, so long as you have a PC anyway since there is a demo available on Steam.

Kingdom: Two Crowns is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It is a premium game that costs $6.99.
