Jetpack Joyride finally whizzes onto Google Play

After zooming wildly across several platforms in recent times and leaving a fiery exhaust trail in its wake, the Gold Award-winning Jetpack Joyride has at last crash-landed on the Google Play Store.

Halfbrick's endless-flyer took its maiden voyage on iOS last September, then made its way to Facebook in May 2012, and landed on the Amazon Appstore last month.

If you're one of the 12 people out there who isn't familiar with Jetpack Joyride and Barry Steakfries, the game's potty-mouthed antihero, let me fill you in.

As you no doubt suspected from the game's title, you strap on a jetpack, say your prayers, and try to stay in the air for as long as possible while collecting coins. Simples.

Jetpack Joyride is free to download from Google Play, so you have absolutely no excuses. Get it. Now.
