James Bond: World of Espionage - mobile gaming at its absolute worst

Take down evil villains, drive the world's fastest cars, seduce beautiful women, and sip all the martinis you could ever hope for, all at the touch of a button.

No, really - all one button.

James Bond: World of Espionage takes everything great about 007 and relegates it to tapping. Tap to shoot enemy, tap to drink martini, tap to approach woman. Every. Single. Mission.

It's a stretch to even call World of Espionage a game. Everything - from driving missions to the half-baked base building multiplayer - is just a series of menus.

Developer Glu has created something utterly devoid of player engagement, rammed it with IAPs and energy bars, then slapped a popular licence on it to lure in the crowds.

It's mobile gaming at its absolute worst and you should steer well clear.

Hardly deserving of being called a game, World of Espionage is a shameful use of a beloved licence
