Today Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast brought us a new PvP battle arena inspired by The Book of Souls' vinyl gatefold artwork in its latest update on iOS and Android.

Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast is a strategic RPG based around the characters of Iron Maiden and its music.

The update came as a feature to celebrate Iron Maiden's Book of Souls world tour, reaching the final leg this coming weekend. Now, all arena battles will take place atop a Mayan Step Pyramid, and for a limited time you may also be lucky enough to get Sacrificial Souls as a possibly reward from the Sacrifice feature.

As well as some general bug fixes and PvP match improvements, there's also a new character up for grabs - Shaman Eddie. The latest addition confounds his enemies with a wide variety of negative status effects (which increases the damage his enemies take). Since he inflicts both physical and magical damage, he can be built to crush weak Defences or weak MR.

If you haven't got the game yet grab it free-to-play on the App Store or Google Play.
