Into the Breach, the award-winning strategy game on PC, is out now on mobile via Netflix

Netflix has officially launched the mobile version of Into the Breach, the popular strategy title on PC. The award-winning game tasks players with defending the last remnants of human civilisation against fearsome creatures sprouting up from underground.

In Into the Breach, players can expect to gather the best pilots and coolest mechs to take down alien monstrosities and protect their territories. They'll have to strategise the best use of their units in turn-based combat, with a wide variety of weapons, upgrades and gear to make sure they earn their victory.

One of the most unique things about the game is that players can still have a last shot upon defeat - they can send for some much-needed assistance back through time in order to rescue another timeline.

For Netflix's mobile version, players can look forward to an expanded edition with advanced enemies, pilots, mechs, weapons, and missions. From the footage available online, it seems like the game has a very Pacific Rim-esque vibe combined with Front Missions elements, all laid out in lovely pixel art form.
