The semi-popular asymmetrical horror game Identity V has announced that it will soon host its next big crossover, this time with the extremely successful anime murder mystery series Danganronpa for the third time. Specifically, this event will focus on the third entry into the Danganronpa series, V3, and will bring both new and returning skins alike.

Identity V has remained a bit of a cult success, escaping wide global popularity but finding a pretty decent niche in a lot of countries across the globe. Heavily inspired by the beloved Dead by Daylight, this multiplayer horror game sees you and a team of other survivors trying to escape a killer, or you doing the killing yourself. It’s a 1v4 sort of deal that leads to lots of exciting horror movie-like moments.

Danganronpa, on the other hand, is a visual novel murder mystery series that has remained quite a big name for some time now. While Identity V has collaborated with the series before, it has only run the gamut for the first and second games in the franchise - until now.

This new event will focus on V3, the third title in the Danganronpa series, but the official Tweet announcing this crossover also mentions that the previous skins from the other collaborations with the franchise will be available again. Needless to say, this is an excellent opportunity if you missed out on those.

Currently, that about sums up all the details we have. There’s a nice teaser in that Tweet, but there’s no confirmed release date just yet, nor is there a word on what characters from V3 will be receiving skins. Unfortunately, we’ll just have to wait to hear more.

Still, you can always go ahead and get a headstart on the event by downloading Identity V for free at either of the links below!
