The moment you've been wheating for, I am Bread is out now on Android
I was bread for this purpose
If you've been a gamer for the past two years there's little chance you haven't heard of the vein-poppingly frustrating indie game, I am Bread. Well, it's your lucky day Android users because it's just arrived on Google Play.
I am Bread isn't some trick or play on words. You are literally a piece of bread attempting to free yourself from the shackles of your doughy brethren and traverse a dangerous landscape to ultimately turn yourself into toast.
It sounds easy, but a piece of bread doesn't have any hands, sunshine. How do you move across the kitchen without falling on the floor? How do you slip yourself over the cool metal of a toaster to ultimately nestle yourself in the warm bosom of its slots?
With great bloody difficulty.
Granted I'm more of a PC/PS4 player of I am Bread but the experience is no less aggravating. The controls are just as finicky, the toaster/lamp feels just as far away, and the dangers are just as real – and that's why it's so charming.
Grab I am Bread on Google Play now for £3.99 and God speed, pilgrim.
