Updated on September 19th at 12:50: Huerons is now available on the Google Play Store as well.

Interestingly unlike its iOS cousin the Android version is free to download and features IAPs. You can grab it for nowt [download] right now.

Original story follows...

Huerons is a clever looking dot-based puzzler that's just hit the App Store in New Zealand. That means it should be out in the UK at midnight tonight.

The game is all about connections. Each level places a number of coloured blobs on a gird. It's up to you to connect them all together.

Of course it's not as simple as that sounds. There are a variety of other obstacles and challenges standing between you and your connect-y goal. Portals that move your dots about, chameleon dots that swap their hue, and wanderers that, well, wander.

There are 100 puzzles in this initial release, and apparently more to come somewhere along the line. So that's quite a lot of puzzles.

The game will set you back 69p / 99c when it lands in the UK later tonight. And that's not very much money for an awful lot of dots. That's a launch sale price though. The game will double in price come September 20th.
