Donate to charity and help our heroes by downloading Hero Bears on iOS and Android
Starring Ross Kemp, Jeremy Clarkson, and Lorraine Kelly
Dig deep and grab your running shoes because Help for Heroes has just released a fundraiser app.
For those that haven't heard the name, Help for Heroes is one of primary fundraisers which offer practical support to serving and veteran members of the Armed Forces who've suffered life-changing injuries and illnesses in the line of duty.
Help for Heroes works by offering four recovery centres that provide sports and physical recovery, education courses, and mental wellbeing assistance.
The Help for Heroes app itself is an endless runner featuring Hero Bear (who we're told has been trained by no other than East End hardman, Ross Kemp). Players control a small platoon of bears who must race forth while avoiding pitfalls.
Should the player fail, Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson is on hand to motivate you by slagging you off. Don't worry though, Lorraine Kelly is also about to provide encouragement.
The Help for Heroes app is available to download now for £1.99 from Google Play and the App Store. For every download, £1 goes to the Help for Heroes charity.
To help you make your mind up if you're still not convinced, here's a video of Ross Kemp shouting at a bear:
