[Update] Durarara!! and Baccano! creator Ryogo Narita and Tri-Ace are working together on an RPG called Heaven x Inferno

Update on March 2nd at 11:11: Tri-Ace has now released the first trailer for Heaven X Inferno:

Battles are looking a bit messy with a lot of effects going on but at least everything quite well rendered. Still no word on a western release.

Ryogo Narita is well known by manga and anime fans. He's the creator of Durarara!! and Baccano!, two well received mangas that then went on to be animated.

Well this week we learned that he was working with Tri-Ace, creating the story and world of Heaven X Inferno.

Tri-Ace is behind the massive Star Ocean series and was recently bought by Nepro Japan, a company specialized in mobile apps. This is not the first mobile game by Tri-Ace though, as Chronos Ring came out in Japan last year.

Heaven X Inferno seems to have more going on though with Ryogo Narita being invovled and Yuzo Koshiro making the music for the game.

Gameplay details are scarce in the game's first teaser but it seems to involve knocking down demons in 1vs1 battles.

But will it ever see the light outside of Japan? We don't have any information at this point but don't cross your fingers. We'll have to wait and see after its planned summer launch in Japan.
