Hearthstone will launch Season 3 of Battlegrounds on January 17th

Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. has announced the upcoming launch of Battlegrounds Season 3, letting Hearthstone players step up their game on January 17th. The Battlegrounds mode will receive more content as Season 3 welcomes a new minion type along with Silvermoon and Scourge themed cosmetics and more.

In the upcoming Battlegrounds update for Hearthstone, players can look forward to utilising the new Undead minion type which complements Reborn and Deathrattle effects. Dual-type minions are also joining the fray as some will receive the Undead tag on top of another designated type.

Along with the Season 3 update comes the Season Pass, where players can enjoy new emotes and boards along with fresh cosmetics. Additionally, Professor Putricide will help players create a custom Undead minion for four gold. And finally, the Lunar New Year event beginning Janary 17th will reward players with event XP and in-game goodies galore for completing quests.
