Hearthstone gets Tavern Brawl, new hero portraits, and fresh card backs

Hearthstone has received a humongous great update on both iOS and Android, slap bang in the middle of E3 week.

First up, we get Tavern Brawl. In this mode you'll be pitted against a different player, each week. And the fight will have unique rules - perhaps you'll have a preset deck or you'll have to craft a new stack of cards under a certain spec.

Tavern Brawl unlocks for players who have at least one Hero at level 20.

Also, those aesthetic changes are here. You can buy new heroes for the Warrior, Hunter, and Mage classes that make no gameplay changes, but do give you fresh portraits, hero power animations, emotes, themed card backs, and hero trays.

Also, the collection manager has been updated. You can now see your card backs, assigned different backs to each deck, and find new ways to filter cards. Plus, there are new card backs:
