Some clever bods on Reddit have figured out how to get Blizzard's collectable card battler Hearthstone running on Android phones, and not just super-sized tablets.

First, make sure you uninstall Hearthstone from your phone if you've already tried to install it. Then, make sure your Android's security settings are set to allow for apps to be installed from unknown sources.

You're gonna need to get the files from this package. Use your PC to drag the APK onto your phone, and then install - but don't launch it.

Then, according to the Reddit thread, "Drag the OBB files (main and patch) into the folder \Android\obb\com.blizzard.wtcg.hearthstone\". If you have an SD card, this folder may be located on that, instead.

Now you can launch the game and it will work on your Android phone. The only thing that won't work is the ability to buy in-game gold through in-app purchases. Which might just light a fire under Blizzard's butt to do a proper phone version.

Get more info in the Reddit thread. Thanks to Droid Gamers for spotting this.
