The big Pocket Gamer accessory guide 2018 - Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge cases
Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge cases: make sure your Sammy is covered
Samsung had one particularly massive failure in 2016 with the exploding Galaxy Note 7 debacle. But don't forget that it also launched two brilliant phones in the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
The Galaxy S8 is out now, of course, but the Galaxy S7 is far from finished. It's still a going concern for Samsung (and a whole bunch of retailers), which is unsurprising.
Both 2016 phones are a delight to look at, capable of withstanding full submersion in water, have some of the best displays and cameras on the market, and remain extremely powerful.
Needless to say, the Galaxy S7 family has been a huge seller for Samsung, spawning a healthy case scene. Here are just some of the excellent cases on the market.
Spigen Liquid CrystalA really simple, form-fitting clear case that does its level best to stay out of the way of the Galaxy S7's top notch industrial design. The trade off is that the Spigen Liquid Crystal doesn't offer the protection of the more rugged cases - but the buttons are covered and there's a front lip to help protect the screen.

OtterBox Symmetry
The OtterBox Symmetry doesn't mess around with gimmicky designs, but nor does it worry too much about spoiling the S7's skinny profile. This is a chunky-but-plain case that will keep the phone snug and safe from otherwise calamitous droppages.
