 ANDROID NEWS - UPCOMING

The gorgeous fantasy adventure Guildlings kicks off on iOS and Android later this year and I'm already excited about it

I'm confused, but I like it

Earlier today, Sirvo Studios revealed its first trailer for Guildlings and I already intrigued as to how this will actually play. There's no release date for it just yet, only that the first chapter will be released on iOS and Android sometime this summer.

Originally announced in 2016, we really didn't know much about the game until now. Guildlings is a single player episodic fantasy adventure inspired by JRPGs, where you'll play as Coda.

After this homeschooled teen accidentally activates a cursed smart phone, it's up to you to help him gather a team, free them from the curse, and save the world. Y'know, all in a day's work.

What's interesting here, aside from the crisp and attractive art style, is its acknowledgement and use of mobile technology. You'll use text messages to interact with characters to progress the story as well as interacting with the world in other ways.

Keep your characters' relationships with each other as drama-free as possible and you might just succeed in your quest.
