Guardian Tales collaborates with hit anime Slayers Next for in-game goodies and crossover events

Kong Studios has announced an exciting new collab event for Guardian Tales, their retro-style pixel-art RPG on mobile. The latest collaboration event will be a crossover with Slayers Next, which starts February 22nd for Part One and March 8th for Part Two. Players will be able to experience their favourite characters from the hit anime series in an entirely new way.

In Guardian Tales' latest crossover event, players can expect iconic elements from the Slayer universe, along with teenage sorceress Lina Inverse and her companion Gourry Gabriev. The latter will be given away for free for all players in a fun in-game event.

There will also be new quests, subquests and other key characters. The second part of the collab will introduce the mysterious priest Xellos as well. Lina Inverse will be a 3-star hero with a Pick-up Summon, while Gourry Gabriev will be a 3-star hero who comes with his exclusive weapon. Xellos, on the other hand, will be a 3-star hero with a Pick-up Summon as well.

There will be more characters, narratives and quests to be revealed as the event goes on and as the second part of the collab event rolls around, so it's best to stay tuned for more info on the official website. If you're ready to give yourself a headstart in joining the festivities during the crossover, you can download Guardian Tales on the iOS App Store or on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
