Rockstar announces Grand Theft Auto: Vice City 10th Anniversary Edition for iOS and Android
Take these broken wings
Rockstar Games is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of '80s-throwback crime sim Grand Theft Auto: Vice City by bringing the game to iOS and Android gizmos.
You'll get the full PS2 game on your device, with high-resolution graphics and what Rockstar calls "several enhancements unique to the iOS and Android platforms".
The studio did the same thing for Grand Theft Auto III's 10th birthday. We called the iOS version of the controversial game "a largely successful port of an iconic game", though we did have some problems with the controls.
Rockstar says it will release more information about Vice City for mobile - including a list of compatible iOS and Android devices, and a release date - in the weeks ahead.
We just want to know if the incredible '80s soundtrack will remain intact. Michael Jackson, Talk Talk... it just wouldn't be the same without 'em.
