Google Play refunds now available for up to two hours after a purchase

Google Play

This week, Google updated its Play service's policies so that you can get a refund for a game or app for up to two hours after you bought it.

Previously, the refund period only lasted for up to 15 minutes after purchasing from Google Play, so it's a notable increase in time.

There are exceptions, however: you can't get a refund for a game after you've bought it for the second time and after getting a refund for it before.

This is just to stop you from buying and getting refunds for an app over and over - using or playing it without spending any money.

To get a refund for an app or game you've bought on Google Play, just go to the My Apps section and hit the Refund option.

If it's been more than two hours since you bought it then that option will be replaced with an Uninstall one.
