First Google Phone picture revealed by tech twitterer
San Francisco blogger Cory O'Brien apparently gets to grips with the Nexus One
The first picture of the recently confirmed Google Phone has been revealed courtesy of San Francisco blogger Cory O'Brien.
Despite Google's supposed insistence that the 'dogfooding' testers were to keep a low profile, blogger Cory has gone public with a Tweeted quote and TwitPic.
Cory's tweet was suitably enthusiastic and encouraging for Android fans, "Google Phone = iPhone + a little extra screen and a scroll wheel. Great touch screen, and Android", whilst the festive image reproduced below, was initially posted on Twitpics.
Assuming this is a legitimate picture rather than a fake, then it's clear that Google's new handset is very similar to the HTC Passion, albeit without the branding and the 'X' logo would seem to support the suggested Nexus One title.
