Kill your crew or face 20 days of torture in Gods Will Be Watching for iOS and Android
By Harry Slater 22 July 2013
Game Name: Gods Will Be Watching | Developer: Deconstructeam | Format: Android, iPhone, iPad | Genre: Adventure
Deconstructeam's Gods Will Be Watching is a game about choice. Not straightforward good vs evil choices, mind. Much more complex than that.
Gods Will Be Watching is a point-and-click adventure in which you are forced to decide how a variety of different scenarios play out.
Did I mention that it's heading to iOS and Android devices in the not-too-distant future? Yep. Just now.
Gods Will Be Watching is based on a Flash game game built during Ludum Dare 26 (which you can play by clicking here).
In it, you play as Burden, the captain of a crew of space-faring misfits. As you've probably already worked out by now, Burden is faced with a series of dilemmas.
Essentially, you have to pick your way through a series of puzzles, doing what you - and only you - think is right.
With each puzzle comes a different layer of gameplay. Oh, and each choice has its own consequences.
Deconstructeam has turned to the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform to raise the cash for the game, and it's already passed its minimum goal with 25 days left to go.
If unguided moral choice in a pixel-art universe sounds like it's up your intergalactic alley, you can head over to the Gods Will Be Watching funding page right now to throw some cash at Deconstructeam.
