Back from the 80's, Garbage Pail Kids return for a mobile CCG outing

Jago Studios is looking to bring back the Garbage Pail Kids, this time in a mobile game that will be free-to-play for both Android and iOS.

The game will be a card-collecting RPG, featuring characters from the original line of stickers and trading cards, and also presenting some new designs.

If you're not familiar with Garbage Pail Kids, they were originally a series of trading cards, produced in 1985 and made to parody the Cabbage Patch Kids dolls.

The trading cards usually featured a character in some gross or terrible situation, with a word play character name (for example Adam Bomb, as in the image below).

There's not too many details on the game just yet, as development is still in private beta mode. But we'll update as we get more information.
