New standalone Gameloft Live Android application allows you to create avatars, chat to friends, earn virtual currency

Gameloft has today released an all-new standalone Android application for its newly revamped Gameloft Live social gaming network.

The new app features a 3D interface that allows you to create and customise your very own "unique" Xbox Live-esque avatar, which you can develop in a "full-3D environment that's full of surprises".

You can unlock new items and objects for both your avatar and its environment by successfully nabbing trophies and achievements from Gameloft's range of mobile titles.

The app also makes it much easier to find friends, invite them to play games, and stay in regular contact with messages and real-time chat.

You can also use the app to browse the publisher's full catalogue, view and launch your games from a single hub, take advantage of special offers and promotions, and earn virtual Gameloft games. Phew!
