Gamebook Adventures turns the page: An Assassin in Orlandes now available on Android

Tin Man Games' highly regarded RPS Gamebook Adventures series is now rolling out for Android devices.

The Australian developer announced that after eight releases on iOS, it was porting its engine to Android last month, and now that process has been successful, with An Assassin in Orlandes now live on Google Play.

The other games in the series are also expected to be released in due course.

Choose wisely

As with the iOS version of the game, you're thrust into a conspiracy in the fantasy setting of Orlandes City, where nobles are being systematically murdered.

You have to make decisions choosing between multiple choice actions and using the dice-based battle system to solve the mystery, before you become one of the victims.

"Before we exhibited the iOS versions of Gamebook Adventures at PAX East in 2011, we had clear goals of where we wanted to take the series," said technical director Ben Britten.

"However, during the expo we found out that while a lot of the visitors loved the idea of our products, they had Android smartphones. This made us realise we needed to change our plans and bring the series to Android as soon as possible."

GA1: An Assassin in Orlandes is available now, priced £3.50 or local equivalent.
