Ahoy landlubbers! Game of Dice has received a sizeable Pirate Attack update which adds a ton of new content themed on the seafaring rogues of old.

The most exciting aspect of this update is the brand new event map which is not only themed on a pirate ship but includes a completely different toll system that aligns better with the nature of pirates.

Also included on the map are special island spots like the famed Treasure Island. Stopping on these can trigger special skills.

There's also a brand new female pirate character who specialises in Vacation Spot Tolls, four new themed skill cards - one of which you can craft yourself -, and a new Monkey Dice which, again, specialises in Vacation Spots and Toll Increases.

In terms of features, you can now chat with your friends and guild members while in a match - which will come in handy when you want to coordinate your tactics.

Then there's a level cap increase from 30 to 35 and some brand new events to take part in which are focused on Valentine's day, the new update, and Chinese New Year. Completing them will earn you a ton of gold, gems, and holograms.

If you haven't played it yet, Game of Dice is a mobile board game in which players take turns throwing a dice to make their way around a multi-tiled board, taking real estate that they land on.

The idea is to own the most real estate possible so you become the most powerful player on the board. Each time you perform laps, all of your real estate will drive up in value which will help you bankrupt opposing players - the primary goal of the game.

It's similar to Monopoly but with a few twists, like the 65 different skill cards that can help you turn the tide in your favour - as well as the different characters and dice which each have different abilities.
