Grid Autosport is speeding onto Android devices next week

Grid Autosport is finally making its way onto Android devices on 26th November after being available on iOS for around two years now. This follows Feral Interactive's other recent ports of classic games such as Tropico and ROME: Total War Alexander.
Grid Autosport was originally a console game that launched in 2014 for PS3 and Xbox 360 where it was pretty well-received. Since then it's been ported to iOS and quite recently onto Nintendo Switch. We reviewed the iOS port back in 2017 and found it to be a great time, so if this port matches that standard it should make a great addition to the Android library.
This port of the game makes use of both tilt and touch screen controls, aiming for a happy medium between realistic and arcade-style driving. You'll be able to use your phone as though it's a steering wheel whilst the touch-screen buttons will be used to control your speed.
If you've never played Grid Autosport you'll play as a pro-racer who competes in five different racing styles across the world of motorsports. There's around 100 cars and the same number of circuits so there's plenty of high-speed action on offer here.
The game will require 3.9GB of space and Android 9.0 and later. For a full list of the supported devices, simply scroll past the end of this story. Feral Interactive want players to know that it might be possible to play the game on an unsupported device but it's not officially supported so it may not work as intended.
Grid Autosport will be available on Google Play on 26th November for £9.99. Alternatively, if you're an iOS user and weren't aware Grid Autosport is available already on the App Store you can pick up it there for the same price of £9.99.
